Barbara’s Pavillion

Barbara’s Pavilion might be one of the best places to Karaoke in town. This bar is a bit of a hike if you don’t live in Oak Cliff, but it is worth the drive. Barbara’s has a very chill, welcoming vibe and offers cheap drinks, which is really all you need to sing in front of a bunch of strangers. Check out their karaoke on either Thursday or Saturday night with their wonderful host, Dee Dee!

kaze

This local Hibachi restaurant near NorthPark is a hidden gem for special occasions, fun birthday parties, or bachelorette bases because of its hibachi offerings. But it also has a secret: KARAOKE! They have a room you can use if you have a group of at least 12, that includes a karaoke machine and screen! It’s no frills, fun! And they don’t charge an hourly rate, but you do have to order Hibachi!

5 minutes down the road from Kaze, is a 180 from a Japanese Karaoke bar. One Nostalgia or known by locals as “One Nasty,” or “Cocktails Dancing,” is a West Texas-esque dive bar, where you’ll be singing all the country songs! And what we noticed? People were actually good singers too, so this is the real deal! And if you need a break from singing, there’s shuffleboard too!

Windmill Lounge

Windmill Lounge is a total hole in the wall that you might miss if you don’t know where to look. Tucked away in the Medical District off of Inwood Road and Maple, Windmill lounge is a cozy dive bar with a jukebox, pool tables, and a nicely updated patio. More importantly, however, they also offer some stellar karaoke on Thursday nights with a huge selection of songs to choose from. They recently updated their menu as well so in addition to bar snacks, they now serve up paninis if you need some food to go with your cocktail.
