6 Local Summer Discounts for DFW Teachers
Teachers work their butts off during the year; they put in long hours, get to school early and stay late, work Saturday school, and many have second jobs! This summer, while you’re “off work” (yes, we know -- you still have PD and lesson planning), check out some of these cool teacher perks!
Free museum admission TO THE PEROT
The Perot offers free admission to teachers when they show their ID. In addition to The Perot’s 11 permanent exhibits, they currently house six featured exhibits, as well as this summer’s traveling exhibit, Art of the Brick. It’s only here through August 18th, so check it out before you head back to school!

20% off at CAFE BRAZIL
Sure, plenty of restaurants offer teacher perks, like 10% off your bill, or a free appetizer. We really appreciate those offers! But Cafe Brazil goes above and beyond: they offer 20% off of your entire bill when you present your teacher ID! And, they have sever different DFW locations to choose from.
For more discounts and perks, our biggest advice is to always ask! Many brands and stores offer teacher discounts even if it might not provide that information on their website. It’s always best to check!
