June 3, 2019

One of our favorite things about summer is brunching on the patio! But, let’s be honest -- Dallas takes brunch seriously year-round. Here are some new spots to try out this summer!
Alamo Club opened its doors on Lower Greenville back in February, but added brunch to their menu in April! Their brunch menu is available every Saturday and Sunday from 11 AM until 4 PM. They have an amazing patio, so grab a friend (or several!) and head to AC! They don’t take reservations, so get there early.

This new spot on Fitzhugh (right next to House of Preservation) is taking Dallas by storm! They have been packed every night since the first night they opened. Their brunch menu isn’t live yet, but keep your eyes on their social media; owner Greg Katz told us they plan to start serving brunch as early as June!

The Henry was one of Dallas’s most anticipated restaurant openings of this year! Located in Union Station, The Henry has something for everyone: grab a quick bite at the cafe, or sit down to a full brunch in the restaurant. Their brunch menu includes vegan, vegetarian, and gluten free options. The best part? They have a tableside Bloody Mary and mimosa cart on the weekends!

Can’t decide between breakfast or lunch? North Italia has plenty of options for a group that can’t decide. They have breakfast basics, as well as their Italian specialties, a full wine menu, a coffee menu, pizza, and of course, cocktails! Sit on the patio to admire the skyline, or sit inside and watch a game!

They also offer brunch cocktails and smaller starter dishes, like their Maple Pecan Sticky Bun.

They have some staples (like Lo Mein and chicken dumplings), but they also have Orange Chicken and Waffles, Toasted Coconut Waffles, Coconut Cream Egg Rolls, and more! Make sure to show up hungry, because you’ll definitely leave full!

the biscuit bar
This Plano staple just opened its doors in University Park! They have biscuits almost any way you could imagine, including as a burger, as French Toast, and with Nashville hot chicken! If you want a side of carbs with your carbs (because who doesn’t?), The Biscuit Bar has a tot menu as well! Choose between regular or sweet potato, and have them plain or load them up.

For something on the lighter side, head to SERVE in Bishop Arts! In addition to their beautiful and delicious coffee drinks, you can grab a smoothie bowl, a sandwich, toasts, and pastries. Make sure you have your phone or camera, because they have murals that are almost as Insta-worthy as their food!
