5 Places to Watch Super Bowl LIII

January 29, 2019

While we all might be a little sad still that the Cowboy’s didn’t make it, The Super Bowl is coming up on Sunday so it’s time to wipe the tears and make your plans! And honestly, it seems like there is a lack of Super Bowl parties happening around town (maybe for the reason above)! You can of course count on our plethora of patio or sports bars around town to show the game, but what about the places that are making the game their focal point Sunday?! We have a list for you below!

MOXIE’S Grill & Bar

The ultimate upscale sports bar and restaurant, Moxie’s will be going ALL OUT on Sunday!

  • a DJ beginning at 5 pm, who will be playing during commercial breaks

  • 24 TV’s all showing the game

  • Squares game with prizes at the end of each quarter

  • a Super Bowl-inspired food menu

Additionally, they will have themed drink specials including a large Moscow Mule for 6 people to share, a New England Bloody Mary if you’re rooting for the Pats, a Red Bull Bourbon Press, a Mexican Bulldog and a Bucket of Beer special.

This Downtown retro hotel bar is starting the festivities at 4 pm and offering free ping pong, pool and Foosball game play during the Super Bowl if you yourself need a little activity too! Additionally, the following specials will be offered:

  • $1 wings

  • $1 sliders

  • $1 off draft beers

  • $5 wells

  • $20 buckets of beer

Alexan Ross

East Dallas

Did someone say FREE?! This might not be the first place you think of when you think “Super Bowl” or “Sports Bar,” but the new Alexan Ross apartment community wants to be that for you on Sunday! They will have free food, drinks and more for you in their main clubhouse and game room, and will be giving away a 65” TV!

Community Beer Co

Design District

This massive brewery is putting the game on all its big screens and will have surround sound so you can never miss a moment of the game, even when you head to the bar to grab a beer. There will also be food trucks on site, but we love Community Beer Co because it’s BYOF. So if you have a favorite wing stop or pizza parlor, bring food with you!

And if you wear either teams’ jersey, your first pint is on Community!
