Where to Find the Best Healthy Eats in Dallas

October 25, 2018

We have gone all around town searching for the healthiest (and tastiest) eats! In a city defined by its Southern food, tacos and BBQ, it can be hard to eat healthy, but sprinkled throughout, there are several gems that offer food that’s just as delicious for our tastebuds as it is for our bodies! Check out our choices below!

Gather kitchen

Gather Kitchen

With a location in Thanksgiving Tower and a brand new location at Preston Center, Gather Kitchen provides fast food for any diet, whether it be Whole 30, paleo, vegetarian, or vegan. Their offerings include lunch or dinner bowls, snack bowls if you’re feeling on the lighter side, and lots of healthy sweets to choose from! Their Mexican Sweet Potato bowl will likely become a new fall favorite for me, and their Quinoa Pesto Bowl still has me guessing how they made their vegan pesto taste so amazing. My favorite: their vegan brownies--one of the best brownies I’ve had hands down!

Located in Lakewood and now Snider Plaza, Unleavened serves as a great spot for a casual breakfast, lunch or dinner! You can choose from a variety of flavorful food combinations (all of which are gluten free!) that can be placed in either a wrap or over a bed of greens. My personal favorite is the Clubhouse over greens. I’ve never particularly raved about a salad, but that one blew my expectations out of the water! With so many different and innovative flavors included on the menu, Unleavened is the fun and exciting healthy restaurant you’ve been waiting to try!
