Since their opening in 1984, El Mero Mero Tamalero has been serving up some of the best tamales in the area. Farmers Market lovers have named this stand as one of their favorites, so be sure to check them out the next time you're there!

In East Dallas, La Popular has been serving since 1984. You can find it across from Jimmy’s Food Store, and the tamales are served single or by the dozen. We’ve heard they have great vegan options too!

Opened in 2019, the Richardson tamaleria has already garnered quite the reputation, with many stating in reviews that they’re the best they’ve ever had. We went to try for ourselves, and this spot hidden in the center of a strip mall, is a true gem. You can choose from a long list of varieties, in 1/2 or full dozen packages, whether you’re dining in or taking out.
