Breaking A Guinness World Record: Most Sandwiches Made In One Hour

In February 2014, Dallas startup TangoTab, celebrated their 2nd Anniversary by Breaking a Guinness World Record for “The Most People Making Sandwiches Simultaneously.”

1,363 people came together to shatter, the then existing record (684), and set the new record at 1,363 people. As a result, 136,000 sandwiches were made and donated to feed people in need throughout the Dallas area. On August 1, 2015 fast-food giant, Subway, broke TangoTab’s record with 1,481 participants. TangoTab reclaimed this record in February 2016 with 2,587 participants. As a result, donated sandwiches and food for a total of 210,000 meals.

Now, TangoTab is on a mission to break ANOTHER Guinness World Record. On Saturday, February 2, 2019, TangoTab and friends (3,500 people are expected) will gather at the Dallas Convention Center (Hall A) to break the world record for: Most Sandwiches Made in One Hour.

This event is open for everyone and for all ages. Anyone who participates becomes a Guinness World Record Holder. To cover all event costs and food, tickets are sold at $15 per person or $50 for a group of 4 and TangoTab would love to have you join.
