Texas Wildflowers - Designing w/ Floral Foam

Wildflowers are the perfect transitional bloom between summer and fall. As the seasonal summer blooms fade into the vibrant oranges and yellows of fall, wildflowers are a lasting variety celebrating texture and some exciting, unexpected designs. We'll collect some of our favorites and create a loose, vintage-inspired design. Students will leave with the knowledge of basic floral techniques for building garden style arrangements, how to think about color, scent and texture, and helpful tips on working with seasonal materials. Materials you'll use
• Vivid sunset snapdragons
• Magenta mums
• Stunning dahlias in shades of blush pink and sunny yellow
• Modern indigo thistles, and bright orange asclepias
• Greenery and foliage mix
• Vintage wooden box
• Foam

What You'll Learn:
• Knowledge of basic floral techniques for building garden style arrangements
• How to think about color, scent and texture
• How to incorporate an array of floral varieties to alter design, aesthetics, and lushness in an arrangement.

What You'll Take Home:
• An absolutely gorgeous floral design filled with lush wildflowers and other fresh seasonal flowers in a unique wooden crate.
