BALDO'S

Baldo’s Ice Cream entered the ice cream scene in 2017 at the hand of three SMU graduates who wanted to elevate the typical ice cream shop experience. With the help + partnership of local chef, Aldo Sandoval, they brought the premium ice cream shop to life with a chef-driven menu of gourmet ingredients and artisan flavor combinations that takes ice cream to the next level.

Pro tip: They also have pop-ups and can cater your events with their darling ice cream cart!

THE TREATS

Baldo’s creations are made from scratch with locally sourced ingredients. Say hello to inventive flavors like avacado, banana nut, salted caramel & so much more! If you’re having a hard time picking just one, then don’t! Order signature ice cream flights & choose 3 or 6 flavors. They’re also known for their ice cream cakes, shakes, ice cream sandwiches, cookie skillets, or affogato aka your favorite ice cream flavor with a shot of espresso poured over!

Along with frozen treats, they have an array of craft coffee drinks, pastries, wine + beer to enjoy alongside your tasty cone!

SPACES & LOCATIONS

The OG Baldo’s sits next to SMU and the second location that joined in September 2021 resides near White Rock Lake in Casa Linda Plaza. You can take your cone for the road, but Baldo’s cozy space might convince you to hang with their warm + friendly atmosphere! Their modern digs at SMU boast comfy leather seating, plenty of tables & bar seating while Casa Linda offers a unique, loft-style second story to settle in with your treats!
