Balmorhea State Park

Built in the 1930s by the Civilian Conservation Corps, Balmorhea State Park was designed to provide a place of relaxation and recreation in the West Texas desert. Over the years, it has become a beloved swimming hole, attracting visitors from all over the state looking to experience its crystal-clear waters and peaceful surroundings. It’s fed by San Solomon Springs and stays at comfortable 72-76° year-round!
