If you’re in search of something fresh while supporting local, we’re rounding up the best spots around Dallas to pick up the Christmas tree of your dreams! Whether you want to cut your own Christmas tree or find a pre-cut tree, check out these local shops and tree farms around Dallas-Fort Worth.

CHRISTMAS IN THE SQUARE

Scouts Troop 51 is continuing their tradition of selling Christmas trees at Frisco Square! Check out their fresh-cut trees ranging from 5’ to 12’ with free holiday lights and music shows running daily from 6pm to 10pm. Plus, a portion of the sales is divided among the Scouts who work the tree lot and are used to fund campouts and activities!

ELVES FARM

Shop from a full line of pre-cut Christmas trees in their tree lot! Options include Nordman Fir, Noble Fir, Grand Fir, and Fraser Fir trees ranging from six to ten feet tall. They also have hayrides, mazes, wreaths, picnic areas, and complimentary hot apple cider for you to enjoy!

HAYNIE’S GREEN ACRES

Enjoy free hayrides on the weekends while choosing your Texas-grown Christmas tree! Plus, you can shop a variety of colored, flocked trees to add a fun and festive twist to yours! The first colored flocked tree sold was blue, now they have such a range of flocked tree colors, so there's truly something to match any color holiday decor. Complimentary hot cider and coffee are offered as well!

KADEE FARM 

Choose and cut your trees from a huge selection of pre-cut and cut-your-own trees while enjoying hay rides, train rides, and animal barns. You can also walk through a stunning trail of lights from November 19th to December 19th for $8 per person!

Kajin Farm

Cut your own Christmas tree or choose from a selection of North Carolina-grown Fraser fir trees! You can also make a whole day of shopping for your tree, with other fun like hayrides and cabbage ball games, spots for a picnic, and an adorable store to shop!

Caddo Mills | Directions

NICHOLSON-HARDIE NURSERY 

This family-owned, local favorite garden shop is offering Christmas trees from North Carolina, with free local delivery and light and tree flock services. You can also score fun ornaments, home decor, wreaths, garland, berries, and more at their Home and Garden Shop, right down the street!

NORTH HAVEN GARDENS 

You can find freshly cut Christmas trees, festive wreaths with a wide selection of gifts, and Christmas decorations here. In addition to all the tree selections, you can meet Mrs. Claus and enjoy songs, stories, and pictures during select weekends -- see their social media for details.

NORTH POLE FARMS

Specializing in Blue Ridge Fraser Firs and Alpine Noble Firs grown in the northwest, you can find a fresh tree to fit any space here! They even offer weekly deliveries of trees, wreaths, and garlands.

MAINSTAY FARM PARK

Located in Canton, Mainstay offers choose-&-cut Blue Ice Christmas trees with various fun Christmas family adventures such as the Christmas shows, Texas Big Wheel, and other fun activities if you purchase a Christmas Farm Pass. You can also enjoy Mulled Wine, vintage sodas, and different food options here!

MOOMEY CHRISTMAS TREES

For the past 45 years, this tree lot has been bringing trees directly from growers in Michigan to Plano! Shop a variety of pre-cut fresh fir and pine Christmas trees, ranging from three feet to fifteen feet tall!

PATTON CHRISTMAS TREES

Visit the award-winning holiday tree farm, Patton Christmas Trees, on Garland Road right down the street from the Arboretum! Find a vast variety of trees ranging from small, two-foot trees to as large as 15 feet, in addition to fresh wreaths and garlands by the foot to give your tree and home more holiday cheer. They also offer flocking to fully dress your tree, along with tree stands and delivery service!

PATTON'S CHRISTMAS TREES

This tree lot has been around since 1975, offering stunning fresh-cut trees, real garlands, and holiday wreaths! You can browse at their tree lot in person, or contact them to purchase remotely -- they deliver! If you need some additional help with decorating (no shame!) you can purchase a prelit tree, or use their professional decorating and Christmas light installation services.

RUBIAL'S Plants of Texas

The beloved Rubial's location right next to the Dallas Farmers Market is a great place to shop small for your tree while taking in some skyline views! They also offer decor, photo ops, and dozens of other plants to help you get ready for the season.

SAVVY’S CHRISTMAS TREES

Shop a wide selection of fresh-cut Christmas trees, fresh wreaths, and garlands! This tree lot is truly full-service, they tie the trees onto your vehicle and sell custom stands, so you can avoid any holiday mishaps!

Sunset Hill Tree Farm 

Cut your own Texas Christmas tree or choose from a selection of pre-cut Fraser Fir trees from North Carolina at this local farm. Their choose and cut trees are limited this year so get there early if Sunset Hill Tree Farm is on your list!

WALTON’S GARDEN CENTER

Located across from the Dallas Arboretum, you can find all your holiday needs at Walton’s Garden Center with knowledgeable staff and a wide selection of Christmas trees, both big and small. Other home decor includes gorgeous garlands, lush poinsettias, and more! Plus stop by the gift shop for all things ornaments, holiday decor, and gifts! Delivery is available.

Yesterland Farm 

You find pre-cut garlands, Fraser Fir, White Pine and Black Hills Spruce trees ranging from four to fourteen feet tall! Plus, enjoy their epic Christmas Carnival which includes unlimited rides, photo opportunities with Santa, a wagon ride, a corn maze, an animal petting zoo, and more!
