It’s no secret that Texas is home to some incredible BBQ and we’ve had Goldee's BBQ on our list since they claimed the bragging rights as the best in the state! We finally got out to Fort Worth to give it a try and are sharing all the details!

GOLDEE’S BBQ
Goldee’s BBQ opened in early 2020 when a few young pit masters from some of the best BBQ spots in Texas decided to join forces! After barely surviving the pandemic shutdown, they claimed the #1 spot on Texas Monthly’s 2021 list of the 50 best barbecue joints! Goldee’s is located on the outskirts of Fort Worth in the most unassuming building! But don’t let their space fool you, inside some of the best BBQ you’ve ever had awaits!
THE BBQ
The menu features meats by the 1/2 lb including brisket, pork ribs, turkey, pork belly, and sausage. While the meats are incredible enough on their own, the sides are just as good! We loved the potato salad, cheesy grits, Kennedale casserole, and their homemade bread!
We tried almost everything on the menu and it all lived up to the hype, from the melt-in-your-mouth brisket to the best ribs we’ve ever had!
KNOW BEFORE YOU GO
They are only open Friday-Sunday from 11 am-3 pm or until they sell out! A line starts forming between 8-10 am, so be prepared to wait.. we promise it’s worth it! They provide lawn chairs to use while waiting in line but you can also bring your own seating. We recommend getting there before they open if you want to make sure you can order from the full menu, because they do sell out of things as the day goes on!
