Whether you just love to admire cars from afar or are a collector yourself or neither but are up for a fun adventure nonetheless, you must check out The Shop! Located near the Design District, it opened earlier in 2021 and we had the best time taking a tour today!
ABOUT
The Shop is an all encompassing auto storage and private social club spot for car and motorcycle enthusiasts! The company hails from Seattle originally, Dallas is its second location. It features spaces for the public including a coffee shop and restaurant, plus private member spaces and a massive car garage with a wash room, lifts for restoration and repair, tools, classes. It even includes a mini Blade Craft Barber Shop!
Called Derby Dallas, it’s located on the first floor with views of the vintage and collector cars. It’s open Tuesday-Saturday for lunch, happy hour, dinner and brunch, serving up Southern fare like fried okra, crispy catfish, meatloaf and a signature burger.

SOCIAL CLUB
There’s 3 levels of membership. The first at $100 a month offers access to the member areas including a bar, lounge, secret cigar lounge and work spaces. The others allow you to store vehicles (an additional monthly fee per car) in the Shop, plus you gain access to the lifts, tools, the wash room, membership events and workshops, guest passes and discounted access to event rentals.
Most of the cars are vintage or collector, there’s even a priceless Bugatti (the blue one seater in the photos) that’s the only one on display in the world. But others keep “regular” cars here if they’re limited on space, restoring one or selling!
CARS AND BRUNCH
Every Saturday from 10am-1pm, enjoy a Cars & Brunch meet up event with fellow car enthusiasts.
You can also stop by and tour the facility for a fee, getting to see the member areas and cars up close. It’s really cool and interesting, even if you aren’t a bonafide car lover.
