Parents, get excited! Joya at Oran Good Park was slated to open last summer so we’ve been eagerly waiting for its opening, and it’s officially here! We checked it out last night and it’s hands down one of the coolest parks in DFW. Here are all the deets!

JOYA AT ORAN GOOD PARK
Joya (pronounced hoy-ya and Spanish for jewel) is located at Oran Good Park, a 10-acre complex in Farmers Branch with baseball and softball fields, a turf soccer field, trails, and a rawhide creek. The park spans over 25,000 square feet and allows kids to have fun both day and night! Nighttime will be its specialty, coming alive with LED-illuminated interactive features and glow-in-the-dark structures!
GLOW-IN-THE-DARK PLAYGROUND
The main playground for kids ages six and up is over 18,000 square feet and has activities like:
+ obstacle course
+ zip-line with interactive lights
+ spin zone with LED lights and glowing seating
+ 27-foot sphere enclosed with 6 climbing structures, swings, slides, interior hammocks, tube slides, sun shades & more
TOT PLAYGROUND
The tot playground is for kids aged two to five, and is fenced in with shaded structures, a natural sensory play area, a turf embankment play area, gated entrances, and of course, LED lights and ramp structured play!
HOURS & MORE
The park is open from 6am to 10pm so your early bird kiddos can get their energy out early! It will also offer activities for the entire family, programming, art and cultural happenings, and more. Plus, it sits right next to Farmers Branch Creek and other walking trails for other outdoor activities to enjoy in the area!
