PARTERRE

From the owner of Bishop Arts’ La Reunion, comes a new all-day cafe in Downtown Dallas in the former Ascension Coffee space. Parterre, meaning “on the ground” in French, calls the ground floor of the Thanksgiving Tower home, aiming to offer a space where busybodies can swing by for to-go breakfast, the work-from-home crowd can set up shop for the day, or where locals can enjoy a cute date night!

VIBES

Light wood, blue paint, plants, ornate lighting, leather and delicate paintings make up the Parterre interior. It’s a big space, with seating separated out nicely with bar, lounge and table seating to choose from, and decorated really nicely! We loved the vibes coupled with the giant floor to ceiling glass windows and views of the historic Downtown buildings across the street. And you can enjoy it out on the street too with their cute patio set up!

FOOD + DRINK

Their all-day menu includes items like brisket tacos for breakfast or chicken salad wraps, flatbreads and build-your-own charcuterie boards for lunch. The dinner menu will serve heartier items like pork belly baos, chicken lollipops, and beef belly sliders.

COFFEE & COCKTAILS

Parterre will be roasting small batches of their own beans for take-home coffee but will mainly brew beans from Novel Coffee Roaster. They also serve wine, beer and cocktails Iike the pictured espresso martini and be sure not to miss their happy hour on weekdays from 3-6pm where all wine bottles are half off!
