SANDMAN HOTEL FORT WORTH
The 245-room hotel honors the building’s history by keeping many of its original features which you’ll notice in the lobby with its the marble features, brass elevator doors, and even the original mail chute! Take a trip downstairs to what used to be the building’s bank and dine at Musume, an insanely delicious Asian-fusion restaurant.
The rooms are spacious and have elevated finishes, there’s a gym onsite, and a lobby lounge which is operated by Musume, so you know it’s good!
HISTORIC BUILDING
The hotel is located inside the Waggoner Building which was completed in 1920! Fun fact: the building was originally planned to be 15 stories, but when they heard there was a building in Dallas going to be 20 stories high, they added six more floors so it could be the tallest in DFW!
The demo and remodel for the hotel took 5 years in the making and we love that they kept in some of the original architectural features!
IDEAL LOCATION
The hotel’s central location is perfect with plenty of shopping, dining, and attractions nearby. You’ll be 10 minutes from Dickies Arena, the Fort Worth Zoo, and the historic Stockyards, which is a must-visit when in Fort Worth.
HIGH-END DINING
If you want a great meal and don’t want to leave the hotel, you’re in luck! Head down to Musume for an intimate and delicious dining experience. The restaurant offers contemporary Asian fusion with fresh fish flown in from Japan daily, table-side ramen, and the city’s largest selection of premium sake & Japanese whiskey. You can even dine inside the building’s original bank vault!
