Have you ever driven by the adorable Sunshine Flowers off 75 down from Chelsea Corner?! It’s the sweetest flower shop that reminds us of one we’d stumble across in London!
And just across 75 and up a bit by Walnut Hill, sits another precious spot: Sunshine Miniature! Neither are related but both have sunshine in the name and are also hidden gems offering flora and fauna, so we’re featuring them together in this post!

SUNSHINE FLOWERS
Sunshine Flowers & Greenhouse has been around for close to 40 years in its tiny spot off 75. You’ll notice it with the retro sign covered by an ivy wall, that looks like something out of the 60’s. Step inside for an English garden store atmosphere with plant and garden accessories everywhere, plus a bird to greet you with some chirps!
Also their 1/2 off fresh cut flowers happy hour pricing from 4-5 pm is not one to miss at this family owned spot that handpicks their entire selection! Stop by in-store or order online! There’s a “deal of the day” online that you can choose to that saves you $10 off a beautiful bouquet!
SUNSHINE MINIATURE TREES
Opened in 1965, Sunshine Minature is one of the oldest nurseries in Dallas. It sits in a charming bright, yellow house with a secret 7,400 sq ft oasis of plants. The front shop is full of books, accessories, planters, tools and more to help you have a green thumb. The back is an impressive nursery with so many mini trees!!
We enjoyed walking around and seeing all the different bonsai. They sell finished as well as unfinished or rough plants, if you’d like to grow and create your own piece of art! And everyone on staff is so well educated and passionate about plants!
Put both these spots on your list next time you’re in the market for some pretty flowers or mini trees, or both!
