WOODEN SPOON
Dating back to 1867, The Forman House is the oldest home in Plano and has been home to The Wooden Spoon since 1992. Built by Joe and Elizabeth Forman, this historic Greek Revival structure has lived many lives, serving as a residence, stagecoach stop, apartment building, and now a food and gift shop!
VIRAL SWEDISH CANDY SPOT
After getting a ton of buzz on TikTok for their Swedish candy selection, including favorites like Bubs, owner Gwen took a leap and placed a massive order. The result? The candy sold out in just two days! Surprised by the overwhelming demand, Gwen continues to restock to keep up with the crowds!
Recently, she had a customer drive all the way from Houston just to pick up candy for friends!
HARD-TO-FIND SCANDINAVIAN GOODS
Beyond sweets, The Wooden Spoon offers an impressive range of Scandinavian staples like Lutefisk, Bondost cheese, pickled herring, Glögg, summer sausage, and more. Perfect for those nostalgic for home or looking to try something new!
