Whether you’re just looking to enjoy a cocktail with a view of the creek, or ready to indulge in some good old-fashioned comfort food, there’s truly something for everyone. On the menu, you’ll find an array of Cajun-inspired dishes like Boudin Balls, crawfish etouffee, gumbo, and delicious fried seafood baskets. You also can’t go wrong with any of their sandwiches!
Community Pizza & Beer Garden
This massive patio features delicious pizza and tons of brews to choose from! Take a seat on one of their picnic-style tables to soak up the sun, and bring the whole fam along too – this spot is super kid-friendly and dog-friendly. Our faves from the menu are the Burrata Mushroom Truffle Pizza, the Cupping Pepperoni Pizza, and the Chicken Avocado Sandwich!
Creekhouse
Find Texas fare with a sophisticated twist, served in an indoor-outdoor space overlooking Cypress Creek! This spot is great for groups, with tons of snacks and shareables on the menu like chips and queso, fresh hummus, black bean nachos, blistered shishito peppers, truffle fries, and more. We recommend getting a reservation!
Dos Olivos Market
Go for the market, and stay for the family-style dining! This adorable market is where Old World Tradition and Texas Charm meet. You can order gourmet dishes to share from the counter, all made from scratch. Then, take a taste of Dos Olivos home with you, by shopping their variety of Texas and Spanish goods, ranging from olive oil to jams!
Leaning Pear
Enjoy seasonal American dishes inspired by Texas Hill Country! The Leaning Pear is located in a stunning restored building, one of the oldest in Wimberley. The menu is curated by a highly trained chef, focused on sustainably-sourced and fresh local ingredients. You’ll find everything from salads and sandwiches to pizza and classic Southern fare, along with a really amazing brunch!
Longleaf Craft Kitchen + Bar
Longleaf is a go-to for an upscale dinner in Wimberley, where both the food and the cocktails are to die for. Their extensive menu mainly focuses on meat and seafood, with delicious dishes like fried oysters, Texas Hill Country Quail, shrimp salad, a Waygu beef burger, pork chops, and more. Wash it all down with a craft cocktail, martini, or one of their fan-fave Cadillac Cocktails!
Mima’s Tacos
Mima’s Tacos began with a couple selling tacos fresh off a barbecue pit at their house in the ‘90s, and has now grown to two restaurants with a cult following! Their Create Your Own breakfast tacos are out of this world, with toppings to choose from like eggs, potatoes, bacon, sausage, chorizo, beans, ground beef, ranchero sauce, and more.
Ranch Brand Wine & Spirits
This winery and tasting room is oh-so-Texan, from the decor to the drinks! Founded in San Antonio, Ranch Brand has dozens of unique products, including vodka, gin, rum, bourbon, whiskies, and wines. Whatever your preference is, stop by this cute patio for a drink!

Step back in time at this groovy tasting room and bar! The spirits here are made from the South American cape gooseberry, distilled with herbs to create a unique flavor that’s citrusy, tart, and so delicious. Taste it on its own, or try it in one of their creative craft cocktails, and don’t forget to snap a few pics at the Instagrammable bar!
Sip! On The Square
Located on the historic Wimberley Square, Sip! serves dozens of craft coffee drinks, loose-leaf teas, fresh smoothies, and an assortment of bakery bites. They get their coffee beans from Anderson’s Coffee Roasters, the oldest roaster in Austin, Texas! It’s the best spot to grab a pick-me-up before strolling around the square.
The Let Go
This quirky patio is perfect for a casual lunch or late-night snack! You’ll find a quaint patio surrounded by trees, alongside a colorful building with counter service food and drinks. The menu features elevated bar fare, tons of vegetarian options, plus beer, cocktails, and frozen drinks. Pro tip: get the Happy Meal, aka a Lone Star Beer, a shot of whiskey, and a kids cheeseburger!
Wimberley Cafe
If you’re looking for a homestyle breakfast, look no further than Wimberley Cafe! Since 2005, they’ve been serving fresh pancakes and waffles, all day, every day. Indulge in classic breakfast items like omelettes, biscuits and gravy, breakfast tacos, and more. Get there early (before 10am) to make sure their whole menu is available – they sell out of some items fast!
WHERE TO STAY
Our favorite stay in Wimberley is the newly renovated retro Bygone Hotel! It’s located on a stunning 5 acre property that feels secluded but is just a short 5 minute drive from the historic Wimberley Square! The highlight of the hotel is the pool that has incredible views of Blanco Valley and will be so fun in the summer!
