OTHER FALL ACTIVITIES
Apple picking perfectly aligns with their other fall activities like a pumpkin patch, hayrides, a Snoopy-4-Prez corn maze, and more!
THE BAD NEWS
Texas just doesn’t have apple picking. Some farms in North Texas have tried in the past, but those farms have closed or moved away from apple production. The ones that do grow apples seemingly only sell their produce without the coinciding activity.
THE GOOD NEWS
We extended the bounds of our search to find Livesay Orchards in Porter, Oklahoma offers apple picking! This is the CLOSEST farm that we could find to DFW (4 hours north) offering this fall activity.
GETTING THERE
Porter, OK is about four hours directly north of DFW, following US-75 N for about 2 hours, followed by another 2 hours on US-69 N. To put it into another context: it’s 40 minutes southeast of Tulsa.
