A trip to Canada between two friends became a business idea upon stumbling across an axe-throwing facility. They brought the idea back to Texas, with a Lone Star twist, in 2018, and just opened the newest location in West Dallas Trinity Groves in January 2021. Walk into a casual spacious venue surrounded by axe bays, plus a trendy looking bar called 440 Rattler!
If you’re wondering what the sport even is…think of it like darts, but with an axe! Throw it at a wooden target when competing with friends through different games. The team will provide instructions and training, and they are available to jump back in to help if needed! Pricing is person at $22.99/pp for 1 hour or $29.99/pp for 2 hours. They also offer corporate event or group rates!

440 Rattler Bar sits in the corner of Lone Star when you walk in, ready to serve you craft cocktails, wine or local craft beer while you axe throw. And they serve up some seriously pretty & great tasting drinks. You can also order an array of pizza, brats or apps like jalapeño poppers or jumbo pretzels.
