STANDARD SERVICE HEATH

STANDARD SERVICE HEATH

While you may have already checked out Standard Service in Lower Greenville, check out the one in Heath if you’re ever out 30 minutes East of Dallas! This is the ultimate adult playground with TVs, corn hole, ping pong and more.

Their giant fire pit reminds us of a huge paella pan and is surrounded by lounge chairs much like gathering around a campfire! As if it couldn’t get any cuter, there’s plenty of semi-private patio sectionals and bean bag lounge chairs to go around! Find your spot, order some Brussels and grab a Strawberry Lemonade Truly.

The perfect combo for patio weather plus it’s pooch friendly and the food looks incredible, too!

AMERICA GARDENS

AMERICA GARDENS

How does a 10,000 square foot patio and outdoor bar sound? It gets even sweeter because there’s also live music, a scratch kitchen and fun games like axe throwing! Basically a hub of outdoor entertainment in West Fort Worth. The pup friendly patio is a laid back hang with a great menu on deck and bomb drinks, too! Kick off the day by popping a Truly Blueberry Acai or Grapefruit and snap some pics for the ‘gram, of course!

WOODSHED SMOKEHOUSE

WOODSHED SMOKEHOUSE

We didn’t think patios could get more dog friendly but it does at Woodshed because they have a Rawhide Bone Dipped in PitMaster Fat and so much on the expansive pup menu just for furry friends! On the human menu it's all about comforting foods mostly cooked over woods. The patio itself is a cool and comfy, southern atmosphere for sipping some drinks with great views of the Clear Fork Trinity River!

HG SPLY

With two locations in the ‘burbs (Fort Worth and Trophy Club) HG Sply boasts the perfect spot for catching up with the crew over some good times - and good menus! The food and drink menu are delicious to say the least. The Cochinita Nachos pretty much have us drooling and making plans to visit again. If you need brunch plans hit the trendy patio any either location to cheers all the brunch cocktails and get some of the best Insta shots! For more good times on the patio stop in during happy hour Monday - Friday from 3 - 6 pm!

KATY TRAIL OUTPOST

KATY TRAIL OUTPOST

No doubt one of Dallas’ favorite outdoor hangouts is Katy Trail Icehouse and they have a sister location in Plano! Bring the pups to do some socializing while you kick back with good old fashioned patio sittin’ and beer sippin’ (took the phrase straight off their IG because it's so fitting)! The atmosphere is super chill and laid back and we recommend the giant margs, even in the cooler weather because there’s heaters everywhere to warm you up! It’s also a great spot for group meetups!

FIREHOUSE GASTRO PARK

FIREHOUSE GASTRO PARK

The backyard style patios continue at Firehouse Gastro Park which has so many darling seating areas across their full grassy lawn patio plus a boho courtyard area that feels like it should be poolside with cute outdoor furniture and sometimes you can channel an outdoor concert by catching live music acts while you sip drinks and playing yard games!

GRAND PRAIRIE | DIRECTIONS

HEIRLOOM HAUL

HEIRLOOM HAUL

Heirloom Haul’s eatery and tearoom at The Star has probably one of the cutest patios we’ve ever seen and is the restaurant side of Fleastyle’s unique and vintage shop! The classic, dainty tearoom fare has a modern twist that makes it fun to snack on while on the 850 square foot patio with adorable seating. It’s a posh setting with charming umbrellas and an absolute boho environment! Plus get $2 off frose during happy hour Monday - Thursday from 3 - 5 pm!

FRISCO | DIRECTIONS

HULA HUT

HULA HUT

Opt for a more tropical location on the pier-like patio at Hula Hut sitting on its own private lagoon all while overlooking Lake Lewisville! The tiki style definitely airs on the side of a Hawaiian escape especially with the island decor that pairs perfectly with the colorful drinks on the menu, but start with a refreshing Truly to get the experience started! With tables underneath grass skirt umbrellas watching a volcano fountain erupt with water in the lagoon, you’ll feel like you’re sitting on the oceanside more than the lakeside!

THE SHACKS DINING & DOG PARK

THE SHACKS DINING & DOG PARK

Drinks, dining and a huge dog park are what The Shacks in Austin Ranch are all about! Six restaurants all share open air patio spaces (some covered) looking down on the one acre dog park below. With such an array of food types, you can get a wide variety of dishes to share before letting the pups roam and play, even at night because they light it up! We’ve seen so many different kinds of pooches here, some that you don’t see much of which makes it more fun!

THE SOUND AT CYPRESS WATERS

THE SOUND AT CYPRESS WATERS

When dining at The Sound, there’s no shortage of spots to choose from which means there’s also lots of patio spaces to choose from! They sit in the middle of The Sound’s entertainment hub that overlooks the lake and live music from popular local artists and more! From indulging in craft pizza at Eno’s Pizza Tavern to sipping wine at Landon Winery, it’s not hard to settle in on one of these six restaurant patio options, some of which are waterfront!

COPPELL | DIRECTIONS

LAKEVIEW BY PEPPERSMASH

LAKEVIEW BY PEPPERSMASH

One of us actually grew up going to the original Stan’s for summer meals on the elevated patio with a dreamy view of the lake, especially at sunset. Now it’s known as Lakeview by Peppersmash but the patio views are still just as wow-worthy! Part of the patio is shaded and the rest is open to make up over 2,000 square feet of patio space. Enjoy the weather during brunch when they have sky high mimosa towers or for sunset when the liquid nitrogen cocktails are flowing! Either way you swing it, definitely one of the best patio views in North Texas.

TRUCK YARD THE COLONY

TRUCK YARD THE COLONY

Fancy a beer garden and adult playground combo? Head to Truckyard’s location in The Colony for a Dallas-worthy good time in their giant patio area, just in the ‘burbs! While it is a laid back scene, it's definitely a lively patio space because there are food trucks, live music, tons of games to play and occasional events! Sit on colorful and crazy vintage seating or in colorful chairs under umbrellas but wherever you park it, do it with a sparkling Truly for $6 to pair with your food truck grub!

There’s a temporary cover charge Friday 4 pm - close plus Saturday and Sunday; $5 for adults and $3 for kids.
