Enjoy locally brewed beers and tasty bar food outside at Armor Brewing Co! Their large patio is a great place to relax with friends. It has plenty of seating and a grassy area for kids and dogs to play. It's perfect any time of year, featuring fans in the summer and heaters in the winter. With 14,000 square feet of space, City Works at the Star in Frisco is the perfect place spread out with your fellow fans! There is no shortage of seating with two levels of indoor and outdoor seating plus 26 TVs for a premium game day experience! Our favorite spot to post up on game day is definitely on the upstairs patio overlooking The Star!

Grab your friends and head on over the white picket fence wine bar! Eight 11, located on Main St, is a great spot for group gatherings and often even has live music. If you are hungry, try the beloved chicken-apple-brie sandwich.

FIREHOUSE GASTRO PARK
The backyard-style patios continue at Firehouse Gastro Park which has so many darling seating areas across their full grassy lawn patio plus a boho courtyard area that feels like it should be poolside with cute outdoor furniture and sometimes you can channel an outdoor concert by catching live music acts while you sip drinks and playing yard games!

Frisco Rail Yard
This spot is nothing but patio! Frisco Rail Yard is an outdoor food truck park, equipped with games, live music, ample seating, and fans to keep you cool. It has a casual, rustic vibe, and kids and dogs are welcome. The food trucks rotate weekly, so you'll always find something new, and they also serve nachos and ice cream out of an old caboose every day!

HEIRLOOM HAUL
Heirloom Haul’s eatery and tearoom at The Star has probably one of the cutest patios we’ve ever seen and is the restaurant side of Fleastyle’s unique and vintage shop! The classic, dainty tearoom fare has a modern twist that makes it fun to snack on while on the 850 square foot patio with adorable seating. It’s a posh setting with charming umbrellas and an absolute boho environment! Plus get $2 off frose during happy hour Monday - Thursday from 3 - 5 pm!

HG SPLY CO TROPHY CLUB
With two locations in the ‘burbs (Fort Worth and Trophy Club) HG Sply boasts the perfect spot for catching up with the crew over some good times - and good menus! The food and drink menu are delicious to say the least. The Cochinita Nachos pretty much have us drooling and making plans to visit again. If you need brunch plans hit the trendy patio any either location to cheers all the brunch cocktails and get some of the best Insta shots! For more good times on the patio stop in during happy hour Monday to Friday from 3pm to 6pm!

Opt for a more tropical location on the pier-like patio at Hula Hut sitting on its own private lagoon all while overlooking Lake Lewisville! The tiki style definitely airs on the side of a Hawaiian escape especially with the island decor that pairs perfectly with the colorful drinks on the menu! With tables underneath grass skirt umbrellas watching a volcano fountain erupt with water in the lagoon, you’ll feel like you’re sitting on the oceanside more than the lakeside!

No doubt one of Dallas’ favorite outdoor hangouts is Katy Trail Ice House and they have a sister location in Plano! Bring the pups to do some socializing while you kick back with good old fashioned patio sittin’ and beer sippin’ (took the phrase straight off their IG because it's so fitting)! The atmosphere is super chill and laid back and we recommend the giant margs, even in the cooler weather because there’s heaters everywhere to warm you up! It’s also a great spot for group meetups!

LEGACY HALL
If we're spending a Saturday in the Dallas suburbs, one of our favorite things to do is grab lunch or dinner and Legacy Hall! This beloved food hall features over 20 restaurants, multiple bars throughout, and a great patio that features two levels of seating. There's also a stage where they host live music performances and plenty of TVs for sports watching!

LSA Burger Co.
Bringing the "lone star attitude" to Denton is LSA Brewing Co. With a large event space, good food, and strong drinks. LSA Brewing is a fantastic 'burbs bar. You can order just about any drink imaginable but be sure to try the LSA Brewing beer, and delicious food. The food menu includes a variety of burger options, salads, sweets, and of course french fries. Live Music is also a must at LSA on your next visit!

While you may have already checked out Standard Service in Lower Greenville, check out the one in Heath if you’re ever out 30 minutes East of Dallas! This is the ultimate adult playground with TVs, corn hole, ping pong and more. Their giant fire pit is surrounded by lounge chairs much like gathering around a campfire! Drinks, dining and a huge dog park are what The Shacks in Austin Ranch are all about! Six restaurants all share open air patio spaces (some covered) looking down on the one acre dog park below. We’ve seen so many different kinds of pooches here, some that you don’t see much of which makes it more fun!

When dining at The Sound, there’s no shortage of spots to choose from which means there’s also lots of patio spaces to choose from! They sit in the middle of The Sound’s entertainment hub that overlooks the lake and live music from popular local artists and more! From indulging in craft pizza at Eno’s Pizza Tavern to sipping wine at Landon Winery, it’s not hard to settle in on one of these six restaurant patio options, some of which are waterfront!

This spot is casual and low-key, sticking to the classic ice house vibe you know and love! On the menu, you'll find Texan and Southern eats, along with dozens of cocktails and pours -- they have an amazing happy hour, too!

Fancy a beer garden and adult playground combo? Head to Truckyard’s location in The Colony for a Dallas-worthy good time in their giant patio area, just in the ‘burbs! While it is a laid back scene, it's definitely a lively patio space because there are food trucks, live music, tons of games to play and occasional events! Sit on colorful and crazy vintage seating or in colorful chairs under umbrellas!

3 Nations Brewing
In downtown Carrollton, 3 Nations Brewing is a local craft brewery with a large outdoor patio and great food on-site. With so many great flavored beers, there is something for everyone. There are core offerings such as Mango Smash, a tropical IPA, or Haze Wizard, a New England Hazy IPA. Each Friday there is a special "small batch" beer, and there are also events hosted at the brewery including beer hall trivia, taproom bingo and live music weekly.
