Who’s part of a family that loves a turkey trot?! For many of us, it’s a Thanksgiving tradition and you can join the YMCA Dallas’ 57th Annual Dallas Turkey Trot, where more than 18k people are expected to cross the finish line!

The heartwarming tradition of giving thanks takes on an energetic twist as runners gear up for the 57th Annual Dallas Turkey Trot! Hosted by the Dallas YMCA, a non-profit dedicated to youth development, healthy living, and social responsibility, this event is a cornerstone of Thanksgiving celebrations in North Texas!
P.S. The funds raised from the trot go towards supporting Dallas’ YMCA’s community health programs, including chronic disease prevention & childhood obesity initiatives.
TURKEY TROT DETAILS
Online registration is now open and closes on Nov 22nd, and you can still register on race day from 7-8:15 am! Choose to run or walk in person or join virtually from your neighborhood or anywhere across the country.
DOG-FRIENDLY TROT
And don’t forget your furry friends! Dress them up in their most festive attire for their dog-friendly trot! The first 750 pups that cross the 5k finish line will receive race medals! Plus, participants of the costume contests have a chance to win a one-year YMCA membership!
RACE DAY
The festivities kick off Thursday Nov 28th at 7 am in front of Dallas City Hall and continue until noon, rain or shine, so grab your crew and run (or walk) into Thanksgiving at the annual Turkey Trot!
