FREE EXHIBITIONS AT THE DMA

The DMA unveiled its new free exhibition last month, and we were seriously blown away. The space is visually stunning, filled with bold, unique pieces that would make the perfect backdrop for a date night, a pre-dinner stroll, or an afternoon stop after Klyde Warren Park.

ICONIC AND EMERGING ARTISTS

These galleries now serve as a permanent home for the DMA’s postwar and contemporary art collections, featuring works from 1945 to today. Fan favorites by Pablo Picasso, Jackson Pollock, Bridget Riley, and Jean-Michel Basquiat are now on display, with the collection rotating quarterly to highlight everything from Abstract Expressionism and Minimalism to time-based media and emerging artists!

FREE FIRST SUNDAYS

While general admission is always free, visitors are able to experience the “Marisol: A Retrospective” exhibition at no cost, in addition to over 5,000 years of stunning permanent collection works, no reservations needed! (Please note, the “Return to Infinity: Yayoi Kusama” is exempt from this offer.)

HOURS + LOCATION

Open Wednesday through Sunday, from 11 am to 5 pm. Find the DMA in Downtown Dallas at 1717 North Harwood Street.
