LOWER GREENVILLE ST.  PATRICK'S DAY PARADE

Starting with a few vehicles in 1979, Dallas’ annual St. Patrick’s Day Parade will see its 45th run on Saturday, March 16th! The family-friendly parade attracts more than 100,000 visitors yearly and is the largest St. Patrick’s parade in the Southwest!

The parade begins on Blackwell Street by Half Price Books at 11 am and stops on SMU Blvd around 2 pm. Admission for the parade is free and we recommend arriving early to snag a spot!

TRANSPORTATION

Parking is limited, so we recommend taking the Dart or using rideshare. The nearby Dart Stations are Park Lane and Lovers Lane!

DASH DOWN GREENVILLE

Start your morning early with the annual “Dash Down Greenville” 5k. It’s a super fun run with an after party too! Register at runproject.com.

BLOCK PARTY

While the parade is family-friendly, adults can head to Lower Greenville between Vanderbilt and Vickery for the ultimate 21+ block party! Starting at 9am, the street is blocked off for a giant party with green beer tents, 3 stages with DJs, and participating bars with their own special fun! Participating bars will be announced soon!

MORE DETAILS

1. There is a cover to enter the block party and you will need cash!

2. Even though the block party ends at 5pm, the party goes all night as the bars will stay open until 2am.

3. If you want to avoid the block party crowds but still be near the excitement, check out the bars further down Greenville!
