The bustling restaurant hotspot, Village on the Parkway, has expanded even more with the addition of District, a restaurant and bar offering Bay area bites, a boozy bar program, and a fabulous patio now open in Addison!

Northern-California-based concept, District, has expanded outside the Golden State with the debut of its first Texas location in Addison! The group has teamed up with local chef Aaron Staudenmaier, who has spent time with local favorite Mansion at Turtle Creek. With a diverse menu and lounge vibes, it's truly one of our fav new spots for a date night and group outing alike!

The menu features both classics from the Bay and also Dallas-exclusive dishes to give the Texas location a touch of southern charm! They have incredible shared plates to enjoy as a table including their signature lamb meatballs, sweet potato pakoras, and crispy squash blossoms! We could truly have an entire meal with just the apps!

For entrees, find a variety of meats, pizzas, and fish! We highly recommend the braised short rib, Thai mussels, and Texas-mushroom pizza. Finish off with meal with market moonshine cake - made with homemade moonshine!

The expansive bar program is headed by Ron Taylor with an emphasis on wine and whiskeys from around the globe. To pay tribute to their first Texas location, their menu features a “Texas Craft” list where you can sip on an array of whiskeys from local makers. Prefer the vodka route? Opt for one their handcrafted cocktails like the Pretty in Pink, a fruity vodka based drink with grapefruit, lime, and elderflower liqueur!

The easy flow from indoor to outdoor seating gives this space a cozy yet lively and coastal feel. The interior combines both rustic touches with contemporary finishes and is centered around a stunning bar. Grab a seat and enjoy a drink or sit down for a full meal in the dining room with lounge seating. The star of the show is the spacious patio with string lights and a great energy!
