On rainy days, we dream of cozying up in coffee shops, and although El Porton isn’t open on Sundays, we’ve been wanting to share this specialty coffee shop with our coffee lovers for a while!
El Porton is located in Casa Linda near White Rock Lake. The owners, a couple from El Salvador, spent a year living in Italy and wanted to fuse Italian and Salvadorian coffee cultures together! They really care about where their coffee comes from and love to talk to customers about the story of the beans, farmers, and producers. In fact, their name means The Gate as they aim to educate consumers about the coffee industry.
El Porton makes its own blends that you can experience through their coffee they prepare in house, and you can buy them in-store or online. Enjoy traditional drinks like espressos and lattes or try a white tea latte, orange bourbon, or matcha latte. Keep up with their socials for seasonal drinks.
