Now open in the Design District, The Evelyn Dallas is a three-part concept featuring a 50’s glam dining room, a ruby red bar and a sophisticated disco lounge. We stopped by last night and were truly blown away by the design….simply put, each space is gorgeous!

EVELYN
Don’t stop reading upon hearing “steakhouse” yet! We know that Dallas has a lot of them, but honestly, this one is really cool! From the same group as The Mexican, Evelyn aims to be a place where Dallasites can dine and dance the night away. And it’s intentionally female-forward, with Hollywood glamour at the core of the design.
We even put steakhouse in quotes because while yes, steak is what the menu centers around, we did not feel like we were at a “steakhouse” at all!
50S, DISCO & ROCK N ROLL
The 9,500 sq ft space channels vintage glamour and modern edge, with three completely different rooms!
🎹 The Piano Room: the main dining space, which evokes 1950s Hollywood glam and reminds us a bit of Sketch in London…girly yet sophisticated, with a more subtle pink color scheme.
♥️ The Ruby Room: a moodier, livelier bar scene, illuminated by the gold bar at the center. It has a 70s flair with geometric carpet and fabric covering the walls.
🪩 Room Seven: the late-night lounge that transitions into late-night bites when the HUGE disco ball starts spinning.
A LOOK AT THE MENU
The menu pays tribute to classic steakhouses with steaks are sourced from Rosewood Ranch, Allen Brothers and DemKota. If steak isn’t your thing, there’s also caviar-topped scallops, a Chilean Sea Bass or Salmon. And to start, try the Wagyu Cheesesteak Bites with caramelized onions and black truffle.
A $150 MARTINI
The drink menu stays on theme with a menu of $17-$22 martinis, or try the $150 “Price of Fame” with Nolet’s Reserve Gin, black truffle bitters and caviar-stuffed olives.
