GOORIN BROS

Goorin Bros began in 1895 in Pittsburgh by Cassel Goorin, who sold hats off the back of his horse wagon. In 1921, he passed the business on to his sons, Alfred and Ted Goorin (hence the Bros)! The company is still in the family and is now based out of San Francisco. To this day, they still specialize in artisan hat-making with an emphasis on quality and individuality, using an old world technique combined with modern style!

HATS FOR MEN & WOMEN

Goorin Bros. believes hats are an extension of one’s personality and an opportunity to express individuality. Their hats vary in shape and style, with a hat fit for every occasion. With various types of hats, like wide brim straw hats, bucket hats, trucker hats, flatcaps and more, you’re sure to find your fit. Some of their hats are on the higher price end, but the quality and craftsmanship make them well worth the investment!

One of their concepts, entitled The Farm, has every style with a patch depicting different animals like a fox, gorilla, wolf, and even an ass (pun intended)! The Farm features hats and apparel with new design drops every Friday, so you’re sure to have the freshest fit when you pick your spirit animal!

THE HAT SHOP

The hat shop sits right on Main Street in Deep Ellum, next to Jade & Clover and Merit Coffee! Inside you’ll spot the iconic hat wall with an art installation of fedoras in every color. The interior is clean and chic with minimalistic displays and modern decor that makes the hats feel like art -- wearable art, that is! The space feels luxurious and stylish, just like their hats, with plenty of mirrors to try on to check out your new headwear! 

There’s also a cozy lounge with bouclé chairs and a comfy couch facing a big screen!
