The minds behind Rye Restaurant and Apothecary Bar have officially launched their next venture, Flamant Bar and Bistro! We stopped by for dinner on Thursday, and it might just be one of the most stunning restaurants in the ‘burbs!

FLAMANT

Inspired by the owner’s time and travels in Europe, they wanted this space to feel a bit more relaxed and casual compared to their other concepts, while still feeling elevated. You’ll findWestern European influences, particularly those of Portugal, Spain, France, and Italy throughout the space and menus!

WHAT’S ON THE MENU

The menu leans approachable with familiar dishes instead of lengthy coursed meals. Expect a solid cocktail lineup, classic bar drinks, and a curated wine list. We tried the frosé with a hint of mezcal and the espresso martini and both were delish!

For food, we kept it simple with truffle fries (cooked in beef tallow!), beef tartare, Caesar salad, and the campanelle pasta.

STUNNING INTERIORS

The showstopper? A hand-painted mural by an Oak Cliff artist featuring bold pink and red hues. The velvet booths and pink marble countertops add a feminine, cohesive feel to the space, which we loved!

WATERFRONT PATIO

Located on the Boardwalk at Granite Park, they offer elevated waterfront dining with an expansive patio perfect for fireplace cocktails or relaxed brunches!

LUNCH, BRUNCH, & HAPPY HOUR

This is the first of their concepts to be open during the day, with weekend brunch and a daily lunch menu! Plus, they also had an amazing happy hour on Monday to Friday from 3pm to 6pm with $10 specialty cocktails, $8 wines, and discounted appetizers!
