The Cotton Bowl Classic Hall of Fame

The Goodyear Cotton Bowl Classic Hall of Fame celebrates the incredible people who have helped make the Cotton Bowl one of the most legendary bowl games in the country.

How are inductees decided? Every two years, a group of sports media members and Cotton Bowl board members votes to choose new inductees. To be selected, nominees are judged only on how they performed in the Cotton Bowl. Players, coaches, bowl staff, conference officials, and others who’ve made a big impact on the game can all be considered.

Each Classic Hall of Fame member receives a custom bronze trophy featuring the image of a 1930s football player…a nod to the era when the Cotton Bowl first began!
