While we’re sad to see concepts go, we’re equally as excited to see what takes their place on the Dallas scene! Recently, West Village welcomed Honest Taco, a 100% gluten free and farm fresh eatery serving up seriously good tex mex including tacos, bowls and more… and they’re now open for breakfast!

HONEST TACO
Everything on the menu (literally everything) is completely gluten and nut free! We love that their mission starts at the source by partnering with organic farm partners for the freshest ingredients. Their goal is to make eating right feel good for everyone without compromise. They also offer a wide variety of dairy-free, vegan, vegetarian, paleo, and keto-friendly options, too.
Start with fresh apps like avocado hummus before moving to taco or bowl options. The ingredients are so bomb like Yucatán-style black pastor-marinated grilled chicken and pineapple relish on the Truebird taco, which was our fave! One feature we loved was swapping a taco shell for an egg white! On the cocktail menu, sips are crafted with organic liqueurs, fresh fruits and pure agave nectar alongside wines and beers that are fully organic. Happy hour happens every weekday from 4-7 PM with $5 house margs, house wine and bottled beers! Visiting in the morning? Try their breakfast tacos or the eggs beneguette!
SPACE
Just like the menu, the interior is bright with vibrant color! All the green adds to the fresh vibes from the greenery wall that greets you at the entrance with the green booths and cheerful yellow chairs just beyond. The open concept kitchen faces the space offering smells of the yummy recipes, and there’s also full bar seating. The large patio is a prime spot to post up facing inner West Village!
