SCARBOROUGH RENAISSANCE FESTIVAL
We love that there are free shows happening all day that you can pop into, plus characters roaming around interacting with guests! We went on a rainy day and it honestly felt like we were in Renaissance England! Grab a turkey leg, sip on mead, catch a joust, and just wander. Use code DALLASITES101 for $5 off tickets!

MUST-DO ACTIVITIES
If you’re just stopping by for one day we highly recommend you:
👗 Rent a costume from Suit Your Fancie right when you walk in! They have options for all ages, from knights and royalty to more whimsical looks. Rentals start around $40, and you can store your belongings there while you explore!
💪 Make your own custom bracer with Hardened Metals Co. and create a piece of armor you can actually take home!
⚔️ Catch the Dais Joust, with shows throughout the day where knights battle it out on horseback.

TICKETS + DETAILS
The festival runs every weekend through April and May from 10am–7pm, plus Memorial Day Monday! It’s located in Waxahachie, about a 30-40 minute drive from Dallas, with free on-site parking.
GOOD TO KNOW
The grounds are large (over 25 acres), so wear comfortable shoes, check the weather, and plan to do a lot of walking. They also offer ADA accommodations throughout the festival!
