There has been a Sfuzzi-sized hole in the hearts of Dallasites for the past few decades and after a recent revival, they are now back serving delicious pizzas, flavorful pastas, and craft cocktails in a swanky lounge atmopshere once again!

Updated March 2022

Sfuzzi first opened in 1987 on McKinney Avenue in the heart of Uptown. Robert Columbo, the original owner, wanted to introduce an elevated Italian concept to Dallas. Now, This & That Hospitality (aka the team behind Whippersnapper, Tiny Victories, Ferris Wheelers, etc) has brought this iconic Dallas staple back in the former Capitol Pub space!

SPACE

This space sits right on bustling Henderson Avenue, seating 80 inside and 120 outside with a 2000 square foot patio! With design help from Wallace Johnson Studio, the interior is a swanky lounge vibe with eye-catching details. The red-hued lighting sets the tone for a swanky, nightlife vibe! There is traditional dining seating on one side, red leather booth lounge seating on the other and the room is centered around a massive wood burning oven + u-shaped bar!

Pro tip: Its pretty loud with top 100 hits blaring through the speakers and standing room bar space. We see this space as a lively dinner before hitting the town or a night cap, rather than an inimate date night!

MENU

To pay tribute to the original Sfuzzi, the chef-driven menu incorporates some classic dishes and new, exciting options that are sure to make Dallas fall in love all over again! The shared plates set the tone, so be sure to try Mama’s House Recipe Meatballs or the Asiago and Artichoke Dip. You can’t go wrong with a handmade pizza, from veggie to breakfast pizza with bacon, egg and prosciutto! The pastas are flavorful + filling and we highly recommend the spicy vodka rigatoni!

If you’re in the mood, be sure to order one of their signature cocktails, like the original frozen Sfuzzi or the Espress Yourself, which is their spin on an espresso martini!
