Indochine Bistro is a new addition to the Dallas food scene where Halal Vietnamese meets Thai cuisine, and you can find it on Oak Lawn where Green Papaya used to be! We finally visited for lunch and had the best experience!

Led by renowned and award-winning Iron Chef Michael Bao Huynh, Indochine Bistro has insanely diverse and flavorful dishes. As a Vietnamese-American culinary expert, Huynh has created an impressive menu ranging from hot and cold apps, curry, noodle, and rice dishes, dessert, and more!

THE SPACE

Indochine Bistro boasts white tablecloth dining, elegant bistro chairs, plants, a small patio for al fresco dining, and stunning light green hues. It’s a cozy, small space with the option for a booth or find a spot at the bar! Whether you choose to visit for lunch or dinner, it has a slightly elevated feel and makes for a perfect date or work meeting spot!

 

THE MENU

Led by Michael Bao Huynh, the menu has a large variety of dishes that show the depth of Southeast Asian and Indochine cuisines. From pho with short rib and brisket to banh mi and spring rolls, there’s something for everyone to try! Plus, the cocktails are made exclusively for Indochine by Orson Salicetti and are so unique and delicious!
