Now that the temps have cooled down, it’s officially hot coffee season (although we support year round iced-coffee drinking as well). But y’all, this whiskey-infused coffee from Inspired Brew was UNREAL! Plus, it’s non-alcoholic, so anyone can enjoy!

Inspired Brew
Inspired Brew opened 15 months ago, after the owner moved to Texas from Michigan. Coffee has been his passion since he was young, sharing it with his mom and learning to love the art of coffee making. Now they are serving up homemade breads, matcha, coffees, and more in a quaint shop on Preston Road in Far North Dallas!
WHISKEY-INFUSED BEANS
To make the whiskey infused coffee, the beans are dipped in a barrel with cognac and Jack Daniels for 6 weeks, before being roasted, burning off the alcohol but maintaining the taste and essence of the whiskey! Pro tip: they sell the infused beans to make from home!
SOURCED FROM ALL OVER
The beans are sourced from farms in Kenya, Ethiopia, and Colombia guaranteeing great quality and taste. If you’re lucky enough, you can try coffee from the owners home country of Cape Verde off the coast of Africa, where the island is made of lava rocks and the beans are imported straight to the U.S.
ALL THE FALL VIBES
We have tried lots of different coffees around DFW, and this was one of the most delicious and unique drinks that we’ve had! We ordered the Toffee Brown Butter Bourbon Latte (say that 3 times fast), and it genuinely felt like we were drinking “Fall” in a cup.
You can taste the whiskey flavors, but it isn’t too much or too little, it’s truly just right!
COFFEE DESIGNS
They also have an insane machine that can print any design you want right on your coffee! We chose to embrace the fall vibes, but you can get your face, dog, logo, or anything your heart desires directly on top of your drink!
