Kostas cafe is a very beloved Greek restaurant with comments like "the real deal," "the staff is fantastic," and "coming from a Greek neighborhood (Astoria, NY), Kostas is one of the few that hits the spot for me." This spot for authentic Greek cuisine shouldn't be forgotten – it is truly one-of-a-kind!

Three brothers brought their favorite recipes from Kratero, Greece to Dallas and opened Kostas Cafe in 1984. Thirty-seven years later, and the brothers work daily at their two locations in Greenville and East Plano!
Atmosphere
We've dined at the OG Greenville spot that draws you in with its tiny blue facade and charming house setting just past Mockingbird. Sit down at one of the white-table cloth tables and find a lively, welcoming atmosphere inside. The interior is charming in its own way… it’s old school, but the Greek motifs and paintings make the ambience romantic and fun.
Greek Food
Open for lunch and dinner, this spot provides reasonably priced, flavorful meals on the menu! You'll find soups, salads, sandwiches, desserts, and a variety of traditional appetizers and entrees! We highly recommend the greek salad or gyro for lunch — both easy to takeout. For dinner, go with whatever Greek wine your waiter believes you'll like and start with the "Opa" greek fried cheese (feta cheese with olives). Everyone chimes in "Opa!" after the cheese is lit on fire right at your table! We sampled the Greek combo platter with dolmas, spanakopita, souvlaki, broiled scampi and mousaka. Everything was on point, and the lamp chops were fabulous too! You really can't go wrong, just don’t forget to have some pita bread and end the meal with baklava!
LOCATIONS
There are two locations, with the OG on Greenville and a newer location in East Plano (on West Park Blvd). You can make a reservation directly through their website or by calling!
