There’s plenty of fish in the sea, but La Pesca in Oak Cliff is now open and serving the most fresh fish in town with a full seafood market and authentic Mexican cuisine!

Updated April 2022

LA PESCA

Well-known Dallas restauranteur and owner of Yellow Rosa, Joel Roland, debuted his latest venture, La Pesca (a.k.a. “The Catch”) in Oak Cliff last month. Inspired by a family-owned fish market in Teplzotlan (“The Magic City”), La Pesca blends an authentic coastal, Mexican seafood experience with a lively dining atmosphere right here in Dallas! La Pesca highlights flavors and influences from different cities in Mexico, including Sinaloa, Michoacan, and Veracruz!

MENU

La Pesca’s menu includes fresh seafood fare and authentic Mexican cuisine. You can expect to find traditional dishes infused with local Mexican flavors, like Ceviche, Red Snapper, Aguachiles, and Tostadas de Pescado! They feature a full fish option, which welcomes guests to browse the market and select their seafood themselves! We covered the Mariscos, a.k.a. the seafood, but we can forget the Micheladas! Their drink menu highlights stunning Mexican cocktails, or you can try one of 8 types of “Michelitros,” a drink made from beer, lime juice, assorted sauces and spices!

ATMOSPHERE

La Pesca takes you to the streets of the Magic City! As you walk in, it’s hard to not mirror the upbeat atmosphere. The decor and furniture are bright and cheerful with a stunning fisherman mural painted by local artist, San Pascual. The spot invites you and your family to enjoy a laid-back dining experience in their restaurant or on their pet-friendly patio where you can catch live Mariachi on Fridays from 7:30-10:30 PM and Sundays from 2-5 PM!

MORE DETAILS
