The ambiance is set as soon as you walk in and you can see the sushi chefs working behind the bar. The entrance is lined with intimate booths and wood paneling. Around the corner is the bar and their back room for private events. They occasionally offer an omakase (chef’s tasting) meal which is one of the best dining experiences we’ve had with edamame, fresh nigiri, hand rolls, and the option for sake pairing as well.
THE HUGE SUSHI MENU
The offerings of fresh sashimi and nigiri at this spot can’t be topped. From big eye Tuna to fatty Salmon and Sea Bream to BBQ Fresh Water Eel, the nigiri selection boasts over 40+ options with rotating seasonal specialties as well. All options are so fresh and we recommend dedicating most of your meal to trying these out! They also have regular sushi rolls (&hand rolls) filled with fresh fish, crab, shrimp and more.
SAKE FOR ALL
The sake options are over a page long and they also offer cocktails infusing sake with sweet and savory combinations. Try their house favorite Japanese Daiquiri including junmai sake, calpico, and lime (which is only $7 on happy hour!). A huge list of beer, wine, and non-alcoholic options live on the menu as well including iced or hot tea.
Every Monday-Friday from 4:30-6pm, Neighborhood Sushi has happy hour where all food is 25% off and they offer $9 beer and sake and $2 off drinks. This is one of the best ways to experience their menu and a great way to share apps and rolls across the table.
Make sure you save room for dessert including our favorite, the fried ice cream sundae with whiskey chocolate sauce and topped with coconut and macadamia. Grab your crew and book your next happy hour at Neighborhood Sushi
