OAKMONT FOOD COMPANY

Oakmont is the freshly painted white building taking the place of the old Doc’s Motorworks. This spot fits in perfectly with the Rosedale neighborhood and has become a staple breakfast spot and lunch spot for the hospital and offices surrounding the area. With the motto “Wake. Break. Dine. Unwind”, you can find a relaxed café environment and good food that won’t break the bank.

THE ATMOSPHERE

Oakmont offers a big patio lining 38th street that is shaded during the day and is decked out with string lights at night. The inside offers a beautiful bar surrounded by table seating and an additional sunroom that sports cute benches and a lot of natural light (best for pics!).

THE MENU

This gem impressed us with their large food & drink offerings. For breakfast, you can grab chicken biscuits, pancakes, migas or avocado toast. And on weekends (8 AM - 4 PM), they offer brunch with a similar menu and brunch cocktails. For healthier options, they have salads, grain bowls, sandwiches, and our favorite, the Texas style poke.

HAPPY HOUR

Happy hour is offered all day Monday and Tuesday and Wednesday-Friday 3-6pm. $2 off beer, wine, house cocktails, and some select starters and side dishes. House cocktails must trys are: The Soaring Melon, their famous Watermelon Margarita and The Patio, their frozen Paloma!
