The Balcony Club is the ultimate Dallas jazz bar! Established in 1988, The Balcony Club is nestled in Lakewood on Abrams, right next to the historic Lakewood Theater. They offer live jazz shows in an intimate, laid-back setting every night of the week. You will feel as if you entered a beatnik alleyway bar in Brooklyn in the '50s. The Balcony Club keeps both their website and their Instagram up-to-date, so you can check each week’s schedule in advance.

This Fair Park spot has been recognized not only by our very own Dallas Observer, but by the New York Observer and USA Today as well! Sandaga 813 sits on Exposition Drive, right in front of the fairgrounds. It’s definitely off the beaten path, but those who know it exists love it. You can catch Grammy-nominated jazz musicians performing there on the regular and for special occasions!
