QAHWAH HOUSE
Qahwah House is the country’s first premium organic Yemeni shop and its first location in DFW is officially open in Mckinney! Founded in Michigan, it now has 17 locations nationwide, and fun fact, this location is now the largest Yemeni coffee shop in DFW!
YEMENI TEA + COFFEE
If you’ve been to a Qahwah House, you know that they’re known for their quality beans sourced directly from Yemen. They’re also roasted on-site, so if you’re lucky enough to be there when they do, it makes the whole place smell incredible!
A PREVIEW OF THE MENU
Their menu features a range of drinks, ranging from traditional to seasonal, including:
🫖 Adani Chai: traditional Yemeni black tea with cardamom, nutmeg, and milk
☕ Mofawar: smooth medium roast coffee with cardamom and cream
🍁 Maple Walnut Latte: seasonal fave made with walnut milk and maple syrup
AUTHENTIC BITES
Along with their traditional coffees and teas, enjoy delicious pastries, including our favorite, the Honey Comb (or the Khallat Alnahi) which are soft, buttery cheese-filled rolls drizzled with honey! They also have freshly baked Sabaya, which is a pastry layered with Yemeni butter!
DETAILS & LOCATION
The coffee shop is huge and has plenty of seating and plugs, making it a great place to work remotely. Find it in Mckinney at 8880 State Hwy 121 #164 and immerse yourself in the rich coffee culture of Yemen!
