ROUND TWO
Owners Alicia and Kendall saw a need for a family and group-friendly concept that would bring people together, and what better way to do that than through games? You’ll find games that span across many decades so you’ll get all the nostalgic feels (looking at you, Pac-Man), then get to play newer concepts!
Find Round Two in Oak Cliff in the previous Flashback Retropub space! They are open 7 days a week and all ages are welcome until 7 pm when it becomes 21+.
WHAT TO EXPECT
Round Two combines retro and modern games, you can play over 50 arcade classics like Pac-Man, Frogger, Space Invaders, NBA Jam, and The Simpsons, and retro console games on old-school TVs, then try your hand at the modern console games and VR! They also have tons of board games if those are more your speed!
You’ll find the newer console games in two themed gaming bays, one is set in Bowser’s castle and the other is Mario themed!
FOOD & DRINKS
It wouldn’t be a barcode without a full bar! Order a delicious on-theme cocktail for just $10, or a themed cocktail shot for $7. We got the Pikachu cocktail with pineapple rum and tropical juices, and Peach’s Parasol with bourbon and peach! Next time we want to try the DK Smash shot which has Screwball peanut butter whiskey, banana rum, creme de cacao, banana puree, and chocolate bitters! They also have weekly specials Mondays through Thursdays from 3 pm to 6 pm where you can get a bottle of champagne for $35 or a bucket of beer for $25.
While they don’t have a working kitchen (yet!) they’ve partnered with local eateries so you can grab food and bring it in with you!
ENTRY
Entry is $5 for adults over 21 and $10 for those under 21. The entry fee gets you unlimited access to the games! The two gaming bays are rentable at $15 per hour, which you can book online or via walk-in. VR is rentable for $10 per hour
