Every Monday from noon to 3pm, Bespoke hosts open-play Mahjong with automatic tables, snacks, and drinks included, all for $30. Starting June 23rd, Catbird turns into a Mahjong & Martinis lounge night every Monday, located within the chic Thompson Hotel downtown. Experienced players can join the fun for $20 (BYO tiles), while beginners can snag a $55 lesson package that includes a reserved seat and everything you need to learn. After the kickoff, the fun continues on Monday nights, just be sure to follow their social media for signup details and updates on this social downtown game night!

Looking for a no-pressure place to learn? The Renner-Frankford Branch Library hosts free, beginner-friendly Mahjong sessions every Tuesday and Friday. Tiles and instructions are provided, so all you have to do is show up and grab a seat. No cost, no registration, just good community vibes and a chance to learn the game at your own pace.

Chef Nikky hosts monthly Mahjong nights at the Skye Private Dining Room inside Asian Mint off Forest Lane. For $35, you can join two hours of open play with great vibes and light bites, or opt for her $50 “Learn to Play” session for a hands-on intro to Chinese Mahjong.
