AT&T STADIUM TOURS

For the young sports fanatic, a tour of AT&T Stadium is a dream come true! You'll get a behind the scenes look at the home of the beloved Dallas Cowboys, learn about how this massive stadium was built, and even get to walk on the football field! They offer several different tours based on your interest, for varying prices. Book ahead of time!

DALLAS ARBORETUM AND BOTANICAL GARDEN

The Arboretum is a great outdoor option for kids to enjoy! Walk the beautiful flower gardens and explore. The Rory Meyers Children's Adventure Garden includes more botanical gardens and a science museum. There is also a daily puppet show!

DALLAS ZOO

Calling all animal lovers! The Dallas Zoo is a must-visit with over 2,000 animals and tons of exhibits for kids. There are daily events at the zoo, and even summer camps for kids in Kindergarten through 6th grade.

FOSSIL RIM WILDLIFE CENTER

Fossil Rim Wildlife Center


Take a day trip about an hour and a half outside of DFW for a safari experience! This amazing nonprofit is dedicated to helping endangered and exotic species, and you can see several of them on their seven-mile drive-through safari. You'll see over one thousand animals from over 50 species, including antelope, rhinos, goats, and more. Our favorite part is feeding the giraffes, and we know kids will love it too!

LEGOLAND DISCOVERY CENTER

Find 12 epic experiences at this amazing attraction filled with all things LEGO! Spend the day building your own unique LEGO creations from cars to cities, ride themed rides like Kingdom Quest and Merlin's Apprentice, and even adventure with your favorite LEGO characters in the 4D cinema. In the warmer months, you can even cool off at Pirate's Beach, their own water playground! Check their website for deals, bundles and more.

MEDIEVAL TIMES

Travel back in time at this immersive dinner theatre! Families can watch knights duel in sword fights, jousting, and more while enjoying a four-course feast fit for a king or queen. The best part? The theatre is located in a castle, which you can explore before the show. You'll get to see real-life horses, shining knights armor, and more -- you'll definitely want to bring your camera to snap some pics!

PEPPA PIG WORLD OF PLAY

True to its name, this spot is full of immersive play areas, all designed after this famous show! Visitors can meet Peppa Pig herself, play in 14 themed areas like Peppa's House, Grandpa Pig's Train, Rebecca Rabbit's Underground Adventure, and more. It's designed for kids eight and under, and tickets get you two hours of playtime. This spot is truly a must for fans of the show!

REUNION TOWER

Kids are welcome to come visit Reunion Tower for some family-friendly activites on the sky deck. During the summer, there are weekly activities for kids including Crayola crafts and visits from the Dallas Mavericks' Mascot.

Ripley's Believe It or Not


For a unique activity filled with all things wild and wacky, explore this massive family-friendly destination! See over 200 lifelike wax figures in the wax museum, watch an 3D film with moving seats, get lost in the mirror maze, and more. The fan-favorite exhibit here is definitely the Odditorium, which is full of games, artifacts, animal oddities, pop culture memorabilia, and even unbelievable true stories!

HEARD NATURAL SCIENCE MUSEUM

Find a nature oasis in the 'burbs, perfect for a day of family fun! Explore the 289-acre nature preserve and museum, which includes a butterfly house, animal encounters, a prairie house, 6.5 miles of trails, and more. The museum is home to fossils galore, perfect for kids who love dinosaurs! Check out their events too, which include everything from night hikes to storytimes!

NATIONAL VIDEOGAME MUSEUM

National Videogame Museum


Step back in time at this gamers' paradise with all the nostalgic vibes! This 10,000-square-foot museum features 20 exhibits, that each focus on a different aspect of gaming history, and over 100,000 artifacts. Admission to the museum also includes a few tickets to use at the retro arcade, which features all the classics like Pac Man, Donkey Kong, pinball, and more!

THE PEROT MUSEUM

With 11 permanent exhibit halls, the Perot Museum of Nature and Science provides an unforgettable experience for guests of all ages. The Moody Family Museum offers kids the ultimate playground with an interactive farmers market and a scavenger hunt throughout the museum. AMERICAN GIRL CAFE

The recently opened American Girl Store at The Shops of Park Lane is an amazing space all dedicated to this cult-favorite doll brand! Girls, boys, moms, dads, and dolls can stroll around their life-size doll house, take their doll to the salon, and visit the cafe for lunch, brunch, or tea. We love their tea time experience, complete with finger sandwiches, crafts, and more!

BOLDER ADVENTURE PARK

Bolder Adventure Park


This massive adventure park has 18 unique activities, all housed under a giant dome! Try rock climbing, zip lines, via ferrata, ropes courses, tubing slides, synthetic ice skating, adventure nets, and so much more. Plus, it's located at EpicCentral, so you can grab a bite to eat and explore the neighborhood after!

BOWL & BARREL

Beat the heat at Bowl & Barrel! Take the kids to the bowling alley and enjoy an indoor game with or without the bumper lanes. They offer $10 bowling for kids Monday through Wednesday from 11am to 4pm.

Looking for an indoor family activity? CAMP is the perfect spot for creative kiddos. Entrance is free, and the art experiences are available for purchase along with gifts/crafts in the gift shop. Be sure visit to the splatter room or schedule your visit during a tie-dye slime craft, or disco dance party -- you truly can't go wrong with any of their activities!

Escape rooms are always a fun activity for families, and one of our go-to's is Escapology! What makes this one stand out is the unique themes and storylines, whether you're escaping a curse, searching for treasure in a lost city, or solving a mystery on a train. Since the games are a little more advanced, we think this would be perfect for older kids and teens! Teams of two to eight players can compete, so bring the whole fam along!

FRISCO PUBLIC LIBRARY

Frisco Public Library


This newly renovated library is the largest in Texas, at 158,068 square feet! It holds a massive collection of books, 284 thousand to be exact, and a 20-foot-tall T-Rex skeleton named Rexy. Follow his footprints around the library, which make rumbling sounds when they’re stepped on! Toddlers can enjoy the Pond area with board books, while the Ready to Read Railroad at Tiny Town offers pretend play areas and STEM activities for kids.

GO APE ZIPLINE & ADVENTURE PARK

For families looking to get outside and get active, Go Ape is the perfect place! This epic outdoor experience is an obstacle course in the forest, featuring tree-to-tree crossings high up in the tree canopy, ziplines with the longest one at 423 feet, and Tarzan swings. Plus, they even have an escape room! We recommend checking their website for specific age requirements.

If your family has ever wanted to compete in a TV game show like Family Feud, The Price is Right, or Wheel of Fortune, now you can! One of the most unique activities we've done in Dallas is Game Show Battle Rooms, an experience that puts you in all your favorite game shows. Teams will face off in fun challenges inspired by your favorite shows, complete with a show host!

This immersive art exhibit is a beloved global phenomenon, and you can see it for yourself in DFW! This massive exhibit is more than just art -- it's a maximalist, colorful multiverse. Called The Real Unreal, the installation tells the story of an ordinary family that encounters the extraordinary, covering topics like chosen family, community, and the power of imagination.  Kids especially love the colors, it's a great place to inspire creativity!
