WHY WADE?
Wade College has been offering a personalized college experience since 1962 — and it’s anything but typical! From day one, students benefit from small class sizes, hands-on learning, and real connections with faculty who actually work in the industries they teach. Plus, tuition is fixed and all-inclusive, meaning your books and supplies are covered. No surprise costs here!
Wade’s classrooms feel more like creative labs, located right in the heart of the largest data center in Texas and next to the biggest wholesale trade center in the world. It’s a super dynamic environment where learning meets real-world experience.
Whether you're into Interior Design, IT, Marketing & Management, or Fashion Design & Product Development, Wade offers focused programs that make it easy to get on the path to your dream job. With an open-door policy and one-on-one attention, it’s a refreshingly supportive alternative to the traditional college experience.
ENROLLMENT & CLASS SCHEDULING
If Wade sounds like your kind of place, don’t wait! Enrollment kicks off in early June, and new students can jump in at the start of any trimester.
Here’s how it works: the school year is divided into three trimesters with about seven weeks of break time. Two trimesters make up one full academic year.
Wade also offers flexible class scheduling to fit busy lifestyles! Classes run from 8am to 10:35pm, Monday through Thursday, and 8am to 1pm on Fridays. Weekend classes might also be scheduled on Saturdays from 9am to 1pm. Each trimester brings new schedules, so students should be ready for a bit of variety.
HOW TO APPLY
Ready to get started? You can apply up to a year in advance of your ideal start date! Just keep in mind that space is limited, so the earlier, the better.
To apply, you'll need to complete and sign the Application for Admission and/or the Tuition and Enrollment Agreement (a parent or guardian’s signature might be needed too), and submit everything to the Admissions Department with a $25 application fee.
An admissions interview is also required — ideally in person, but virtual options are available if you live far from campus. This is a chance to talk about your goals and see if Wade is the right fit. If it feels like a great match, you’ll be invited to enroll!
ACCELERATED DEGREE PROGRAMS
Looking to earn your degree fast? Wade’s accelerated programs are designed to get you into the workforce sooner. You can complete an associate's degree in just 16 months, or a bachelor’s degree in as little as 32 months!
Here’s the breakdown:
-
Associate degree = 60 semester credit hours
-
Bachelor’s degree = 120 semester credit hours
This is a great option if you want to keep your college experience short and sweet — but packed with valuable experience.
LIFE AFTER COLLEGE
One of the best ways to measure a school’s impact? Look at their grads! Wade College alumni have landed roles at top companies like Neiman Marcus, JCPenney, Fossil, BuddyLove, Gensler, Texas Health Huguley, Nordstrom, and more.
While you're in school, you’re encouraged to gain real-world experience — whether it’s part-time work or field experience tied to your major. Many students score job offers straight out of school thanks to these early connections!
Plus, Wade offers access to the College Central Network — an exclusive, online career management system where students and alumni can apply for jobs, track their applications, and connect with career services.
