This May, Momentous Institute is inspiring us to “squeeze the day” by exploring simple, everyday ways to boost our mental health, one mindful moment at a time! They’re partnering with a few of our favorite places around DFW to curate mental health-focused outdoor experiences designed to help you connect, pause, and reset! Check them out below.

THE CJ CUP Byron Nelson

If you’re headed to the tournament this weekend, cool off with their signature frozen lemonade, enjoy cheery photo ops, and unwind in Putt Your Feet areas, designed to help you relax and recharge all weekend long! For the weekend of 5/10-5/11, The Nasher Sculpture Center in Downtown Dallas is offering a serene, mindful experience in their beautiful garden, where you can stroll through world-class sculptures and discover moments of calm to help reset your mind within the hustle of the city!

 

Klyde Warren Park

Klyde Warren Park is connecting movement with mental health at their exciting lineup of FREE weekend workout classes throughout May! Plus, don’t miss 101Media Events Silent Disco on May 16th, where the combo of music and dancing makes for a happy mind!

 

Dallas Zoo

For the month of May, the Dallas Zoo will offer a self-guided adventure with mindful pit stops and peaceful pauses from flamingos to fresh air!

 

Dallas Arboretum 

The Dallas Arboretum and Botanical Garden and Momentous Institute have teamed up to create a self-guided journey through the gardens, filled with mindful moments and sensory surprises!

 

City of McKinney

This month, the City of McKinney Parks and Recreation, is bringing you mindful moments whether it’s strolling through one of their parks or hiking a scenic trail!
