Previously known as Mother Clucker, Cafe 26 is a go-to for all things fried! Chicken is fried three ways on their menu, so you can choose from wings, tenders, and sandwiches. Don’t forget to save room for dessert! Their Fried Twinkies, Fried PB&J sandwiches, Fried Oreos and Funnel Cake are fair favorites.

Community Beer Co

Community Beer Co Funnel Cake

Known for fun and unique beers year round, Community Beer Company celebrated the fair this year with Funnel Cake Ale! This Golden Ale is brewed with malted wheat to add a bready taste, and infused with Madagascar vanilla beans to create funnel cake sweetness. CornDog With No Name

CornDog with No Name

They may not have a name, but these are not your average corn dogs! This mother and daughter duo are fried food connoisseurs, and give old family recipes a modern twist. Their Corn Dogs are fried to perfection, with a variety of unique sauces and add ons, like sriracha and bacon. They even have one with gold leaf on it! Be sure to save room for their funnel cake bar and fried oreos too. Check their calendar for future events!

Da Munchies

Vegans can enjoy fried fair foods too! Da Munchies is serving up vegan versions of Southern comfort food and fair favorites all year round. The Cajun Crab stuffed Jalapeno Poppers were a highlight this year at the fair. Also check out their burgers, wings, po-boys, baskets, and dozens of other fried items!

Daqs All Folks

Daq's State Fair

Daqs All Folks is a lively and flavorful spot in Plano that serves over 12 types of delicious frozen daiquiris, delicious bites, live music throughout the weekend, and a turf patio with umbrellas and string lights! Fair inspired flavors include Cotton Candy Mimosas, Funnel Cake Waffles, Caramel Apple Daiquiris, and Cajun Corn. Keep an eye out for fun events, including fair themed pop-ups!

Fletcher's Corny Dogs

Fletcher's Corny Dogs Klyde Warren

A State Fair of Texas favorite for over 80 years, Fletcher’s knows how to make delicious Corny Dogs! In fact, they sell over 500,000 of them at the fair each year. Menu highlights include the classic Original, spicy Jalapeno and Cheese, and the gooey Cheesy Pup. Check out their truck year round in Uptown at a pop-up event, book one for catering, or even have the corny dogs shipped directly to you!

The name says it all – this menu of fried food will put you in a daze. This affordable and casual family owned spot has been an Arlington staple for years.
