AMISH DOUGHNUTS
We've had Amish doughnuts before, and trust us when we way they go above and beyond your traditional doughnut! Making their State Fair debut this year, these giant treats are made with sourdough and topped with a sticky vanilla glaze -- all deep-fried, of course.

This classic shareable has Outback Steakhouse's version beat by far. It starts with thick layers upon layers of onion, battered and deep-fried to crispy perfection. Then, it's topped with a secret seasoning and served with a special sauce for dipping that is seriously addictive!

If you were a fan of last year's award-winning Biscoff Delight, this decadent treat is a must. It's essentially a New York–style cheesecake on a stick, but dipped in chocolate, rolled in churro crumbles, and drizzled with dulce de leche sauce.

COTTON CANDY BACON ON A STICK
The viral sensation and winner of the sweet category in this year's Big Tex Choice Awards, this is one of the most talked about foods at the State Fair of Texas in 2024. A thick piece of bacon is engulfed in cotton candy, which is then smushed onto the bacon and caramelized by a torch down the middle, served on a stick!

The winner of the savory category in the 2024 Big Tex Choice Awards, this dish features fried Dominican salami and tropical cheese on the inside of a double-fried corn dog, which is then split open and topped with crushed plantain garlic chips, cilantro, and secret sauce!

DEEP FRIED ALLIGATOR EGGS NEST
If you've never eaten alligator meat, now is your chance! These deep-fried balls of gator goodness are full of alligator meat, cheese, onions, garlic, and jalapenos, then topped with a chipotle ranch sauce and laid on a bed of fries.
