Best Sweet: The Armadillo
A semi-frozen ice cream drizzled with cookie butter and placed between two deep-fried Armadillo-shaped cookies.
Best Savory & Most Creative: Deep Fried Seafood Gumbo Balls
Using a recipe handed down for four generations that represent “the true essence of New Orleans,” these fried balls of gumbo won over the hearts of judges this year!
